Staying Connected With eSIM: How To Make My Trip To Indonesia Stress-Free

Not only me, but many other people think that setting up data plans abroad often involves quite a bit of hassle. Well, at least it used to.

If you have a limited budget, you would likely buy a local prepaid SIM card in the country you're going to. However, from what I learned in the past, in Indonesia, it seems to be a bit of a hassle to buy and use a local SIM card, especially if you are a tourist. I used to fall into the situation of running around the airport to find the Sim card booth that I made a purchase online before and I certainly do not want that to happen again. That’s why when my parents announced that we were going to Bali for this summer vacation, I got a little tensed up since as a teenager, I cannot live without using my social media accounts.

Luckily, after hours of research on Kaskus and Tripadvisor, I discovered eSIM Data Package. Apparently, it is a service that has been around for quite a long time and is significantly popular among frequent travelers.

So, a few days before our trip, I purchased an Indotel eSIM Topup Package 1GB at Uquid to use for 7 days while I was in Bali with my family. I was quite surprised about how quick and easy the process was. Once we landed in Bali, I was able to use the data plan right away and it worked like a charm.

As far as I know, Uquid offers E-sim and data packages for over 200 countries and mobile networks, which are super convenient for cryptocurrency users like me. Here is the link to their E-sims in case you are traveling or need a foreign digital sim card to activate certain accounts online: https://shop.uquid.com/category/trending-products-cNaqpgkZnwldj/?attr=ncmf&attrval=esim
